Day in the LifeGrades 3 - 5Third, fourth and fifth grade students assume greater responsibility for their learning and are challenged to further develop their foundational skills. Cross-curricular approaches encourage students to present and defend ideas in their speech and writing. English Language Arts continues with poetry, author studies, and independent reading, the New York Philharmonic school day program, art appreciation and the supervised after-school program with homework assistance and recreational activities augment the curriculum and ensure well-rounded interests. |

Day in the LifeGrades 6 - 8Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students thrive as student role models as they prepare for high school, college and beyond. The middle school students benefit from a rigorous curriculum combined with arts and music that allows them to explore their interests and define their strengths. Through the Friends of Nick program, the student leaders build habits of integrity, hard work and compassion. Secondary advising is available for seventh and eighth grade students to help guide them through the high school application process. |
