Fr. Ryan is the Parochial Vicar of St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown Heights. He was ordained a Priest by Cardinal Dolan on May 25, 2019. After priestly ordination, Fr. Ryan served at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville and completed graduate studies in Rome before being assigned to St. Patrick’s.
Fr. Ryan grew up in Pearl River, NY, where he attended public schools through 8 th Grade. He graduated from Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, NJ in 2009, and he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University in 2013. Fr. Ryan completed his seminary studies for the priesthood in Douglaston, NY and Rome, Italy, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Philosophy and his STB and STL Degrees in Theology, specializing in the Church’s dialogue with other Christians and non-Christians.
In his free time, Fr. Ryan enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with
family and friends. He enjoys his regular visits with the students of St. Patrick’s School,
especially answering their questions about the Catholic faith.
