Giorgio C. Morelli

Mr. Giorgio C Morelli was born in Pescara and grew up in Italy. He earned a Doctorate in Italian Literature from the Universita’ di Firenze and the Masters in Communication from the University of Cambridge. He previously served as an Italian Instructor at both EF Academy and Mount Carmel School in Poughkeepsie. 

Mr. Morelli is also the author of two texts: Il 1799 in Toscana (SugarCo, Milano) and Mario Luzi (Mursia , Milano). Both textbooks are used in a number of American Colleges and Universities.

Over the last 22 years, he worked as a NY Correspondent per national Italian
newspapers and magazines, writing about American politics, finance, and arts. 
He has 3 children, all of whom attended Catholic schools in Dutchess County. 

Mr. Morelli is excited to join St. Patrick's as its Italian Instructor!
