Mrs. Walls has her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Pace University. While awaiting her civil service exam results, she decided to work as a substitute teacher. She enjoyed her time in the classroom so much that she decided to make a career change. Mrs.Walls working as a substitute teache, she took graduate courses (at night) to become a teacher and, sheer passion and determination, graduated from Mercy College with a degree in Childhood Education.
Mrs. Walls’ first teaching post was at St. Ann’s School (in Manhattan) as a third grade teacher. Following a three-year stint in New York City, she began teaching at St. Patrick’s School and has now served our middle school for seven wonderful years.
Mrs. Walls is married, with two children - both of whom attend St. Pat’s. She and her family are also members of St. Patrick’s Parish. In her spare time, she loves to read, hike, and watch both of her children play soccer.
