Mrs. Alvarez graduated from The King's College of Briarcliff with a Bachelor of Science
degree, in Physical Education, Health and Recreation. As a proud Army wife, Mrs. Alvarez served as a Program Director and Sports Director for the United States Army in the Nurnberg Germany Dependent Youth Program, overseas.
As an educator, she has worked in Archdiocese of NY schools for over twenty years,
and considers her time at Saint Patrick’s, Saint Theresa’s in Briarcliff, and Saint
Columbanus as a remarkable period in her life - one of fulfillment and service.
Mrs. Alvarez is a true follower of the Lord and is truly proud to be a member of the
Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and cooking. She is also a
member of the Ossining Ladies Fireman's Auxiliary, and a Chapter Officer of the
Daughters of the American Revolution.
Additionally, Mrs. Alvarez is a proud grandmother now blessed with three grandchildren.
